Recognized as one of the World’s 50 Greatest Leaders by Fortune magazine in 2016 and named one of the top 50 over 50 Women Leaders in 2021 by Forbes magazine, Anna Maria (she/her) has well exceeded her early desire to transform the world through servant leadership. She brings over twenty-five years of extensive experience in education, government, and non-profit organizational leadership and management to her role as President of Fearless Global Initiative. With her passion for public service and social engagement, she has made an even more significant impact on the world by putting her efforts into growing leadership and championing diversity.

 Sophia Espinoza

CO-FOUNDER & VICE PRESIDENT

Sophia (she/her) has unique background in digital product development, teaching, and school leadership. An educator in K-5 public and independent schools for a decade, she is an expert in personalized and equitable learning practices, tech-powered classrooms, multilingual language development, and social-emotional learning. Most recently in her role as Director of Learning Design at a children’s technology and media company, she led the design strategy for educational books, video content, educational toys, and an app to teach kindergarten readiness for preschool to elementary-aged children.

Dulce Vasquez

SENIOR STRATEGY ADVISOR

Dulce (she/her) is an education advocate, changemaker, and passionate civic leader. Dulce currently serves as Assistant Vice President for Los Angeles' outpost of Arizona State University. She was previously the Managing Director of Zócalo Public Square, L.A.’s civic forum. Dulce was appointed by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti to serve as a Commissioner to El Pueblo Historic Monument, Los Angeles’ birthplace. In 2022, she ran for Los Angeles City Council which gave her a platform to champion dozens of issues she cares deeply about, including housing, public transportation, support for small businesses, education, and women's rights.
